Makeup artist, Lisa Potter-Dixon, has been working in the beauty industry for over 20 years.

Introduced to the transformative power of makeup and skincare by the women in her life, Lisa began grafting her career with beauty brand, Benefit Cosmetics, where she cut her teeth on the shop floor before working her way up to become the inaugural Global Head of Makeup Artistry for the brand.

A regular on the London Fashion Week scene, creating makeup looks for Matthew Williamson and Sophia Webster among others; Lisa expanded her editorial portfolio working with titles such as ELLE, Wonderland, Grazia and Arcadia magazine - showcasing her skill in creative direction.

As an expert in the beauty industry, Lisa makes regular appearances on ITV’s Lorraine and SheerLuxe to present informative but accessible beauty content. It is her genuine enthusiasm for beauty, fashion and lifestyle that has grown her social media presence online to a combined audience of over 120k+, and has made Lisa a favourite amongst beauty brands.  Regularly collaborating with Charlotte Tilbury, Chanel, Nars, GHD (Lisa is a Global brand ambassador), Armani and many more. As a creative in the beauty industry, Lisa also works with retailers such as Cult Beauty, Space NK and Liberty to create successful nationwide campaigns.

Passionate about giving back and speaking out, Lisa is a co-founder of The C-List, the first online beauty shop for people living with cancer and a Beauty Backed Trustee. She eagerly supports new, undiscovered talent, including small businesses and minority-owned brands.

Lisa is the author of three best-selling beauty books which are sold in over 20 countries. She is also the co-founder of the homeware brand, Velvet Smoke.

When she is not guest-editing beauty pages, creating catwalk looks or giving beauty masterclasses, you can find Lisa in her colourful home in southwest London which she shares with her husband, two dogs and a cat, entertaining family and friends over champagne and her legendary roast potatoes.
