My 5 Faves Of The Month - October
October has been a whirlwind. Still with Halloween to come – if you still need some inspiration for your costume, check out my previous blog post on some of the best YouTube Halloween tutorials [link]. I’m fully embracing the changing of seasons with cozy jumpers, candles everywhere and some amazing dog walks with the best colours (get yourself to Richmond or Bushy Park if you’re London based!). I can’t wait to share these amazing finds. So, grab a cuppa, snuggle up, and let’s dive into my October faves!
Glossier You has been one of my favourite daily scents for years. It’s one I always go back to. So, I was so excited to know that Glossier have released two new fragrances as part of this range: Glossier You Reve and Glossier You Duex. Each scent is unique and perfect for different moods and occasions. Get yourself into a store and smell these babies for yourself!
I shot with David in Africa (see my Instagram for the most epic photos of this trip of a lifetime!). I just had to share his books as his wildlife photos are incredible and add a touch of wild elegance to any space. I’m already eyeing up something new for our home… now I just need to find the wall space!
The latest release from Velvet Smoke. Our Baked Kiss candle is a summer candle – but for Christmas. Close your eyes, imagine you have a pina colada in your hand… but also Father Christmas hat. Its warm, inviting scent is perfect for those chilly autumn evenings when you low-key wish it was still summer.
Versatile and perfect for any occasion, this boiler suit is now a staple in my autumn wardrobe. I mean c’mon guys, everyone needs a well-fitted suit! Top tip, when you find a beautiful suit on the high-street, pay a little extra to get it tailored to you, it will make it look so much more expensive and I promise, you’ll go back to it time and time again!
A timeless piece that adds a touch of sophistication to any outfit. This with a sequin top and some stilettos would be an amazing autumn/winter wedding outfit.
That’s it for my October faves! I hope you found some inspiration to make your autumn even more delightful. Let me know in the comments what your favourites have been this month. Until next time, stay cozy and fabulous!
Love,
Lisa xx
