The best celebrity Halloween costumes EVER!

Now that Hot Girl Summer (is that still a thing in 2022?) is over, make way for Goth girl Autumn. And while I’ll gladly pass on the pumpkin spiced lattes and Ugg boots, bring on Halloween. As much as you know I love my outlandish, freaky, ghoulish makeup looks, check out my tutorials here; I LIVE for the outfits.

From Kylie’s Xtina outfit in 2016 to Heidi Klum’s in… well, every single year, here are my top ten favourite celeb Halloween costumes of all time:

Lizzo as Baby Yoda

It’s about damn time I talked about Lizzo’s Halloween outfit from last year. The three-time Grammy award winner pulled out all the stops during a Spotify party in Hollywood. The result was unrecognisable – and genius. I did fear for her Egyptian cotton sheets though.

Khloé Kardashian and True Thompson as Cruella DeVil and her Dalmatian.

In 2019, when her daughter True was only a year old, Khloé transformed into the sexiest Cruella I’ve ever seen. The Good American designer donned a short wig and a thigh-high slit while her daughter was cuteness overload in her Dalmatian puppy onesie.

Nina Dobrev as A Star Is Born

The Vampire Diaries star scored a 10/10 in 2018 when she hilariously dressed up as Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper’s Oscar winning film. Her take on it was quite literal, and the outcome was not only comedy gold, but also creative genius.

Beyoncé as Toni Braxton

2018 was certainly a good year for Halloween costumes. Queen Bey recreated Toni Braxton’s iconic 1993 album cover, even jokingly called herself Phoni Braxton. The Un-Break My Heart singer even gave her seal of approval, saying Ms B looked better than she did on her own album cover.

 Winnie Harlow as RuPaul

More than 25 years since drag queen and icon RuPaul starred in MAC’s Viva Glam campaign, Winnie Harlow attended Heidi Klum’s (in)famous Hollywood party in 2018 dressed as the RuPaul’s Drag Race legend. She must have manifested HARD because it subsequently became an actual MAC campaign.

Tom Kaulitz and Heidi Klum as Shrek and Fiona

All hail the queen of Halloween. Heidi Klum and her now-husband Tom Kaulitz were the ultimate couple goals as Shrek and Princess Fiona at a Halloween party in New York City. The result was hilarious – and VERY realistic!

 Harry Styles as Elton John

As far as Halloween costumes go, this is up there with the absolute best. Another gem from 2018, Harry Styles transformed into a young Elton John, complete with diamante-encrusted glasses and the sparkly baseball uniform the legendary performer wore during a performance in 1974

Gigi Hadid as Sandy from Grease

This year we sadly said goodbye to an Aussie icon, Olivia Newton John – so it seems only fitting to include Gigi Hadid’s 2015 Halloween costume. The model nailed Sandra Dee, from the skintight spandex trousers to the signature blonde ringlets.

 Hedi Klum as Jessica Rabbit

Not to be upstaged by Gigi, Heidi Klum stole the show at the same Halloween party in New York City. She transformed into a mind-blowing, spitting image of the cartoon character, going the whole nine yards with plastic prosthetics and amazing makeup.

 Katy Perry as Hillary Clinton

2016 was a huge year in politics. Remember Brexit and Donald Trump? So in-keeping with the theme, Katy Perry took her support of Hillary Clinton to the next level. Her glam squad helped transformed the Fireworks singer into a Hillary doppelgänger. Her then-boyfriend Orlando Bloom even got in on the action, dressing as Bill.

There you have it! My top 10 favourite celeb looks: Halloween edition. I can’t wait what Hollywood comes up with this year. I have a feeling it’s going to be mega.
