The Best Cream & Powder Bronzers

Please, can someone let the sun know that summer doesn’t officially end in the UK until 22nd September? There’s no getting around it – it’s emotional when summer ends. But don’t fear, this list will help you get the best sun-kissed glow even as the seasons change.

I’ve split this list into cream and powder. So, you might be wondering, “What’s the difference between them?” Honestly, it’s all about personal preference and the product. Generally speaking, powder offers amazing control and precision, while cream provides a more natural, dewy finish that mimics the look of skin. It’s all product-dependent, so if you can, I’d suggest trying both to see what works best for your skin and makeup routine! Ok, let’s get glowing…

Cream Bronzers

CHANEL – Les Beiges Bronzing Cream

A cult fave for a reason. This creamy texture blends seamlessly into the skin, giving a natural, sun-kissed glow. Perfect for those who love a subtle but buildable colour. I LOVE the size of the pot – it makes it so easy to really get your brush in there!

This product is a game-changer. Its lightweight formula melts into the skin, giving you a radiant finish without feeling heavy. Ideal for a dewy, fresh look. It is full of skin-loving ingredients like Hyaluronic Acid, Squalane and Jojoba Seed Oil… which feels like value for money to me!

Perfect for an effortless, beachy vibe. Its creamy consistency makes it easy to apply, and it leaves your skin looking luminous and healthy. Ideal for a “no makeup” makeup look.

RiRi’s Fenty Beauty line never disappoints. You’ve heard me speak about Fenty’s shade range many times, and this bronzer is no exception with an amazing shade range. It’s super blendable and gives a flawless finish.

For those who prefer a matte finish… this is the dream! It’s easy to blend and provides a natural-looking contour that lasts all day. Perfect for creating a more chiselled look.

When this little beauty made its way into my kit, it never left. Its finely milled powder gives a smooth, airbrushed finish that’s perfect for setting your makeup and adding a touch of warmth.

This bronzer by Armani is part of their iconic Luminous Silk line. It provides a radiant, silky finish that enhances your natural glow. Ideal for those who love a bit of shimmer in their bronzer. Armani also offers an amazing shade range which makes this perfect for my kit!

I love how versatile this bronzer is – it’s super buildable and pigmented, meaning you can achieve anything from a subtle glow to a deep tan. It’s also absolutely perfect for contouring and adding dimension to your face. Oh VIEVE, how I love you.

Can you believe that this baby launched in 2001?! Since then, it has become a classic for a reason. Its blendable formula and natural finish make it a go-to. Whether you’re just getting into makeup or a makeup artist like me, this one’s a staple.

This setting powder doubles as a bronzer, providing a matte finish that lasts all day. It’s perfect for those with oily skin or anyone looking to keep their makeup in place while adding a touch of warmth.

I can’t even tell you how hard it is to choose my favourite brushes. It’s like trying to tell you which of my fur babies is my favourite. I’m going to cheat here and recommend the entire Yummy Brush Collection starter kit. It's created by two incredible makeup artists, Danessa Myricks and James Molloy. So it's no wonder this kit has everything you could ever need for the entire face. But trust me, ‘My 5’ is the ONE for powder bronzer. It provides so much control for contouring but is equally fluffy when you want to soften your look! If you want a more comprehensive brush edit, click here for one I made earlier.

So that’s my ultimate list of bronzers. I’m so excited to know which one you’ll be adding to your collection. As always, please message me to let me know. Glow hard or glow home!

Love,

Lisa xx
