Winter Warmers!

As soon as it turned 1st October, the fire was lit in our house. If you know me, I typically run warm; I’m not afraid to go out in my shorts (even in December!). But when it comes to our home, Theo and I love to be cosy. There’s nothing better than snuggling under a blanket with our fur-babies, a film and a hot drink. So, lean into these cosy vibes with this list I’ve put together of some of the best winter warmers of the season…

Arket - Cashmere Wool Blend Socks

Cashmere socks will change your life. A few years ago, I switched to them in autumn/winter, and I’ve never looked back. These ones from ARKET feel like they’re made to last and wash so well. Your tooties will thank you for this investment!

American Vintage make my all-time favourite jumpers. Honestly, they’re perfect all year round, but there’s something about this red that makes me feel so cosy and festive. Amazing quality – they will last you a lifetime.

Is it dramatic to say that I don’t think I could live without my hot water bottle?! I love one that can blend in with my pillows – like this gorgeous velvet one from Elizabeth Scarlett. The design radiates warmth and joy. Did anyone else know that typical lifespan of a hot water bottle is only two years?! Each bottle comes with an expiry date wheel imprinted on its neck or body. I had no idea about this until one of mine started leaking! Stay safe and treat yourself a new one this season.

Sorry guys, I couldn’t resist. How bloody incredible is this Colin the Caterpillar Hottie? Just stick the removable pouch in the microwave and cuddle up with Colin. My cat, Kimmy, loves cuddling up to this. Kimmy + Colin = a love story waiting to happen!

Acne Studios are the G.O.A.T (or should I say the Alpaca?) when it comes to scarves. This scarf is the softest, cosiest blend of wool, alpaca, recycled mohair, and nylon. The colours are beautiful. This is fashion that will last you a lifetime.

I don’t have hot chocolate very often, but when I do, I like to use something special. What is more special than getting out a tin from Fortnum & Mason? This powder is made with single-origin, sustainably sourced Colombian chocolate - for a richer, darker taste - and all-natural cocoa butter. This is a perfect gift for the chocolate lover in your life.

If I could be in a dressing gown 99% of the time – I would! When I first became a member of Soho House, I fell in love with these gorgeous robes that can be found in ever House bedroom and across Cowshed spas. Thankfully, they have now started selling them! The fluffiest robe, made from recycled fabric, with an option to personalise it. Another perfect gift to a friend or keep for yourself!

Heated throws are a game-changer for the colder months. They are surprisingly cost-effective to run which is amazing for when you don’t want to turn on the heating throughout the entire house. The only downside about this throw is that I have to share it with all three of my fur-babies AND Theo! Maybe we need another one? Purchase this from Boots so you can get those sweet Advantage Points!

I got my first pair of UGGs 15 years ago when I went to Australia for the first time. They weren’t super popular in the UK yet and all of my friends thought I was crazy buying winter boots in the hottest country! But I kid you not, in Bondi, everyone was wearing them on the beach! I thought they were so cool that I bought back a pair for me and my Dad (who surprisingly loved them!). They are the warmest shoes ever! I keep a pair for inside the house and one for going out. If you take care of them, they’ll last forever!

I recently spotted these gorgeous pyjamas on ASOS and I knew I had to have them! Tigers, silk, that blue… what’s not to like?! There’s nothing better than putting silky PJs on after a hot bath. Love!

I hope you enjoyed this list of my recent cosy favourites. As we settle into Autumn, I can’t wait to share more with you. Please let me know what you’ve been loving as I always get inspiration from you guys!

Love,

Lisa xx
